General terms and conditions of sale and use of the services

Introduction

The Service is a virtual Mastercard payment card service attached to an electronic money account. The service is marketed by KeeCash.

KeeCash is a Fintech incorporated under French law, specialised in payment services. KeeCash markets products and services provided by partner issuers and/or distributors of electronic money.

Definitions

Customer: A natural person holding a Card for which an electronic money Account has been opened by the Provider.

Card: A virtual Mastercard payment card issued by the Provider and marketed by KeeCash.

Provider: A licensed electronic money institution responsible for issuing the Card.

Account: The electronic money account attached to the Card.

1. Description of the service

1.1 Sign-up

To access our Services, you must first register by providing the personal information requested. You agree to provide accurate, up-to-date and complete information when signing up, and to keep it updated in due time.

1.2 Login

Access to the Service is secured by a password and a PIN code. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.

1.3 Top-up

Your Card can be topped up through the payment methods made available (Mobile Money, cryptocurrencies, etc.). Applicable fees are displayed before each transaction.

1.4 Dashboard

The dashboard lets you check your balance, view your transaction history and manage your card settings.

1.5 History

Your transaction history can be viewed at any time from your personal space.

1.6 Logout

You can log out of your personal space at any time.

1.7 Account deletion

You can request the deletion of your account at any time. Deletion results in the permanent closure of your Card and the return of your available balance.

1.8 Password change

You can change your password at any time from your personal space.

1.9 Security

KeeCash implements appropriate security measures to protect your data and transactions. You must immediately report any unauthorised use of your Card to us.

1.10 Active countries

The Service is available in the countries listed in the application. The list of countries may change.

1.11 Customer service

Our customer service is available through the in-app online chat or by email at contact@keecash.com.

2. Description of the card service

2.1 The Provider makes available to the Customer a virtual Mastercard payment card allowing the Customer to make online payments to merchants that accept Mastercard cards.

3. Subscribing to the services

To subscribe to the Service, the Customer must complete the online sign-up form and accept these General Terms and Conditions. The Customer certifies that the information provided is accurate and undertakes to update it in the event of any change.

4. Fight against fraud, money laundering and the financing of terrorism

In application of the regulations in force, the Provider is required to implement due-diligence measures with regard to its customers. As such, the Customer may be asked to provide supporting documents (identity document, proof of address, etc.).

The Provider reserves the right to refuse to execute a transaction or to block an Account in the event of suspected fraud, money laundering or financing of terrorism.

5. Types of transactions

The Card allows online payments on websites and applications that accept Mastercard cards. Cash withdrawals are not permitted with the virtual card.

6. Pricing

The fees applicable to the Service are communicated to the Customer at sign-up and can be viewed at any time in the application. KeeCash reserves the right to change its fees, informing the Customer beforehand.

7. Liability

KeeCash cannot be held liable for damages resulting from the Customer's non-compliant use of the Service, nor for malfunctions of payment networks or third-party services.

8. Termination

The Customer may terminate this contract at any time by contacting customer service. KeeCash may terminate the contract with two months' notice, or with immediate effect in the event of a breach of these terms by the Customer.

9. Complaints procedure

Complaints can be sent to customer service by email at contact@keecash.com or through the online chat.

10. Governing law

This contract is governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties undertake to seek an amicable solution before bringing the matter before the competent courts.
